Incoming Students
Incoming students’ schedules are prepared by the university’s advising team, with specific regard for students’ academic background and curricular requirements. New students will be sent information on the Advising Orientation Module and survey that is distributed by the Admissions Office prior to meeting with their respective academic advisor. This module and survey provides initial information about degree and major requirements and allows students to share important information with advisors that assist in the formation of the student’s schedule.
Incoming students will receive a copy of their initial schedule after meeting with their academic advisor. Students will have access to the Student Planning portal approximately three weeks before the start of the term. At that time, students can discuss any updates or request changes to their schedule with their academic advisor.
